ADD THE WOW FACTOR TO YOUR KITCHEN WITH ONE OF OUR QUALITY WORKTOPS.

We offer an extensive range of bespoke worktops as part of our kitchen design and fitting service. These are available in high-quality materials such as granite, quartz and timber and we can also provide solid surface and compact varieties.

WORKTOP MATERIALS

GRANITE

Granite is a natural, hard substance, made up of igneous rock. Each granite worktop surface is unique, with variations in colour, vein and thickness, making it a popular choice for any style of kitchen. Granite is very hardwearing, scratch resistant and easy to clean. With care, granite worktops can last for decades.

We can supply granite worktops from leading manufacturers such as Strata, Sensa by Cosentino and Lundhs. An impressive colour choice is available.

QUARTZ

Like granite, quartz is a durable and hard material. Quartz worktops are engineered from ground quartz with added elements such as glass, or metallic flecks, for aesthetic qualities. Generally, quartz worktops are a little less expensive than granite, and they are well suited to a busy family kitchen.

Quartz worktops are non-porous, meaning that they don’t need to be sealed and resist stains very well. They have a consistent finish, are hygienic and are available in a fantastic selection of contemporary colours. Integrated sink systems are available from Silestone, one of our recommended manufacturers. We also source quartz worktops from Strata, Cambria and Caesarstone.

TIMBER

We source high-quality timber worktops from Strata that are carefully crafted from solid timber staves. They are designed with strength and practicality in mind so that they withstand years of use. We can provide classic walnut, oak, bamboo, rubberwood and iroko worktops and also treated worktops with a distressed, salvage or black washed effect. Our “end grain” timber collection is most definitely something to see; each one features a distinct and unusual pattern throughout its surface.

Timber worktops, with their natural beauty, often age very well. If you opt for one of these, we can advise you on the proper treatment for it, to ensure it resists stains and scratches and looks beautiful for the long-term.

SOLID SURFACE

Strata, Corian and Hi-MACS® manufacture our solid surface worktops. They often contain stone, acrylic, resin and pigments and are available in a multitude of stone effects and colours. We can be quite creative when designing solid surface worktops, as they can be moulded to create curved edges or features and easily integrated with sinks. Invisible worktop joins make for a seamless finish.

ULTRA COMPACT

Ultra compact worktops are a relatively new and revolutionary type of surface. The inorganic raw materials found in glass, porcelain and quartz are combined through sintering to create a virtually indestructible surface that is resistant to scratches, stains, heat, cold, ultraviolet rays and abrasion. We supply ultra compact worktops from Dekton, Neolith and Lapitec®.

 DESIGN AND SPECIFICATION

Our design team can provide advice about what type of worktops are best suited to your requirements and your budget. There are several considerations to explore when choosing, such as whether you’d like a profiled edge and how your worktops will look and fit with the type of hob, taps and sink that you intend to use.

 EXPERT FITTING

Installing your worktops is one of the last jobs we’ll undertake in fitting your new kitchen, yet one of the most crucial. Our experienced worktop joiners will cut and join your worktops so that the seams are hardly visible.
